Setup

Connect in 3 steps

Create your account

Sign up for MailFella. First month is free, no credit card needed. Add your sender email account in settings.

STEP 02

Get your MCP URL

Go to MCP Settings in your dashboard and click Generate. You get a personal URL unique to your account.

Add to Claude Desktop

Open Claude Desktop → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste your URL. Done — Claude can now send emails.

What Claude can do
with MailFella

Four tools are available to Claude once connected. You can use them individually or combine them in a single conversation.

get_lists
Returns all your email lists with names and subscriber counts.
add_contacts
Adds one or more emails to a list. Duplicates are skipped automatically.
send_campaign
Claude writes a full HTML email and queues it to your chosen list.
get_campaign_stats
Returns total sent, queued, and failed email counts for your account.

Common questions

Do I need to know anything technical to use MailFella MCP?

No. You just copy your MCP URL from the dashboard and paste it into Claude Desktop. That's the entire setup — no config files, no coding.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard created by Anthropic that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to external tools and services. MailFella MCP gives Claude the ability to read your lists and send campaigns on your behalf.

Is my MCP URL safe to share?

Keep it private — anyone with your URL can send emails from your account. If it's ever exposed, go to MCP Settings in your dashboard and click Regenerate to invalidate it immediately.

Does Claude send emails directly or do I confirm first?

Claude will typically show you the email it has written and ask for confirmation before sending. You stay in control — you can ask it to change the tone, subject, or content before approving.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

You need Claude Desktop, which requires a Claude Pro or higher plan. The MailFella MCP connector itself is included in all MailFella plans at no extra cost.

What email provider do I need?

Any SMTP account works — Gmail with an App Password is the easiest and most reliable. Outlook, Yahoo, and custom SMTP servers also work.
